  5. Connect the device to PC via USB Cable but keep on pressing the home button.
  6. The phone will prompt, connect to iTunes.
  7. You will see, Device in Recovery Mode. Click Ok.
  8. Restore iPad.
  9. Setup your device.

Since you have never used iTunes, you will not have any backup on your PC. Your only backup source would be iCloud. Restore from iCloud. Let the data transfer from iCloud to your iPad. You sit back and relax till then.
